The Y31500A and Y31630A address the upper end of the conventional hobbing envelope, where workpiece diameters exceed 5 meters and module sizes push the limits of standard tooling. These machines incorporate oversized spindle bearings and reinforced frame members to control deflection under the heavy cutting loads associated with large-module gear production. The 37kW spindle motor provides the necessary torque reserves for interrupted cutting conditions.
